Pastor- Dr. Ron Tippens

Dr. Ron G. Tippens has been pastor of the Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church for over twenty years and describes his time here as “an experience of grace.” A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Dr. Tippens graduated from Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology; Duke University Divinity School with a Master of Divinity; and Union Theological Seminary (Richmond, Virginia) with a Master of Arts in Education and Doctor of Ministry.

Choir Director- Ron Hill

Ron Hill is the Choir Director at Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church and has served as Music Director since 1996. Mr. Hill received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Appalachian University. He also attended the University of South Carolina where he studied Choral Conducting. Mr. Hill currently teaches in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System at University Meadows Elementary School; he has been at University Meadows since 1995.

Organist/Pianist- Tim Brown

Timothy Brown has been an organist and pianist in churches since 1977. Conferred a Bachelor of Music Degree from Queens University and a Masters in Business from Wingate University. Tim and his wife, Becky, have three sons and both have lived in Mint Hill their entire lives.

Administrative/Financial Assistant- Treva Bridges

Treva Bridges is the Administrative/Financial Assistant for ARPC. She manages the church office and is responsible for the weekly bulletins, correspondence and financial details as well as acting as receptionist for ARPC. Treva joined the ARPC staff in 1987 and finds much joy in working with the dedicated members of the ARPC congregation. Treva was raised in the mountains of North Carolina; she has an Associate Degree from King's College in Charlotte; and her hobbies include reading, needlework, and spending time with friends and family. Treva and her husband, Al, have a grown son, Ric.

Director of ARPC Weekday School- Nancy Parker

Nancy Parker has been Director of the Albemarle Road Presbyterian Weekday School since August 1987. She has been with the Weekday School since December 1979. Nancy loves working with children. She grew up in Concord, NC and has an Associate of Science Degree from Lees-McRae College and a Bachelor Degree in Biology from UNC-Charlotte. Nancy and her husband Art have three grown children.
