Presbyterian Women (PW) is the national women’s organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), with a history of more than 200 years and more than 300,000 members nationally. Presbyterian Women is an organization committed to nurturing faith, supporting the church's mission, and building community.
At Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Women oversee the Circles of the church, and plan fellowship activities and mission projects. Throughout the year, we host several events including Spiced Saturday, the Thank Offering, the annual church-wide yard sale, the PW Birthday celebration, and a graduation luncheon.
Any woman attending Albemarle Road Presbyterian Church is welcome to join a Circle – a group of supportive and caring women. We currently have five active Circles that meet for Bible study, fellowship, and service. Helping you find your place and feeling connected to our larger church through "Circles" is one of the goals of Presbyterian Women. These groups not only provide a place for you to make lasting friendships, but they also will help nurture your spiritual life, enhance your prayer life, engage you in outreach projects and provide for you a time to relax and just have fun together with other women. Each circle meets monthly, and sets their own direction based on how they feel led to serve the church. We hope you will join us!
